Hello! This past week was sure busy! We explored more jobs and thought about what we might want to be when we grow up. We had the pleasure of having three special guests come and talk to us about their jobs: a nurse, fire-fighters, and a police officer. The students were very engaged in the exploratory activities. This week, our letter of the week was G and we learned the number 6.

Enjoy our pictures!

Nurse Jessica (a preschool alum) came in on Wednesday and set up
some medical centers for us! Students got to make their own medical bags,
listen through a stethoscope, look at x-rays,
and ask Nurse Jessica questions about her job.

Students made their own medical bags
with a band-aid, a tongue depressor, and a cotton ball.

Listen to your heart!

Whew! We were worn out! Some of us couldn't wait until nap time :)

Thursday, some fire-fighters cam and showed us their uniforms and fire-truck.
They can look kinda scary with the oxygen mask on - but they were very nice!
They even let us come up and touch their uniform so that we would not be afraid.

Officer Sternberg came on Friday and told us how policemen (and women)
want to protect people from dangerous situations. If someone is trying to hurt us
Police can help us stay safe. Officer Sternberg showed us his police car too!
His car has a computer inside. Our favorite part was seeing the lights.

God blessed us with a fun week of learning.
Check out some of our other activities:

We hope to see everyone on Sunday, October 11th at 8:15am service!
The students will be invited to sing in front of the congregation.
See you next time!
