The Giraffes hit it out of the park last week as they learned about sports! The class explored football, hockey, baseball, soccer, and basketball! It was a fun week as the students tried to master a skill from the different games.

Check out some of our fun!

The class did a great job of making lists of
things that they know about each sport.
This our list about Hockey!

We played letter hockey! The students had to find a
letter that the teacher called out and push it in the goal!

We explored the properties of ice and
had some fun seeing what happens when we
mixed in some paint! The students were interested
in seeing how the colors slid together because of
the water.

We had fun playing noodle baseball!
The kids tried to hit the ball with the noodle
and then they ran around the bases as their friends
cheered, "1, 2, 3...you're safe!"

We sorted baseballs from smallest to largest!

The kids enjoyed their water play day!

The class painted their own soccer balls
after playing in the water.

We had fun trying to dribble basketballs and shooting them
in a hoop that was just our size.
