We are walking in a winter wonderland in the Giraffe classroom as we prepare for Christmas! The students are learning about how Shepherds and Wisemen traveled far to see the Jesus after he was born. Just like the Shepherds could not wait to share the news of what they had seen, we are excited to share the news of how much Jesus loves us!

Check out some of the activities we did this week!

We reviewed letters A - J

Students painted the letter P! P-p-paint!
We encouraged students to use a variety of colors
and fill up the whole letter with paint.

We played a game about Shepherds.
Students had to use pictures of shepherds to
fan the "sheep" into the safe grazing area.

Students traced the letter P with stamps

Students used paper snowflakes to trace shapes and pictures.

On Wednesday, students got a surprise visit from Santa!

We used beads to make mini candy-canes.
We talked about making a red and white pattern.

We traced the first letter of our names with Marshmallows!

We practiced spelling our names.

The students used cotton balls to make snowmen.

Students traced the number ten with stickers!

We hope everyone has a blessed and safe Christmas celebrations!
See you next time!
